Ron Jones

        Ron Jones spent over 30 years in the railway industry, learning from the ground up. Ron spent time in Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario. Commencing his career as a track laborer and machine operator, he quickly advanced to a foreman position with his own crew. During his years on the front-line, he gained valuable track knowledge and supervisory experience. Ron then went on to become a production supervisor and eventually a mainline supervisor. His extensive awareness of rail procedures enables him to effectively manage and lead Dunits work crews to complete each job in a safe and efficient manner. His adherence to safety and track compliance ensures that Dunit Contracting remains a leader in the railway industry. 


Ron Huber

        Ron Huber has 30 years of rail industry experience. He began his career as a laborer where he moved on to machine operating. He became general foreman on various production crews, gaining knowledge of track installation, maintenance and inspection guidelines. Ron was able to perform track maintenance from Thunder Bay Ontario to Kenora Ontario to Winnipeg Manitoba right through to Saskatchewan and Alberta. Ron is a ticketed welder and has 15 years of experience track and thermite welding as a welding foreman. He is also a certified frog and rail end welder. Ron is qualified to perform rail car switching services. With high standards and evolving work practices he makes sure Dunit stays current and up to date. Ron's extensive rail knowledge combined with being an expert welder allows Dunit Contracting to ensure your inspection and maintenance needs are always met. 


    Al Gagnon

          Al Gagnon began his railway career seven years ago as a laborer and soon moved into machine operating on various track maintenance crews. He started his career in the Kenora Ontario and Winnipeg Manitoba areas and worked his was through Saskatchewan, Alberta and eventually British Columbia. He assisted in developing and maintaining track inventory computer systems. He trained and instructed rail crews on the proper use of this computer system. Al became a Bridges and Structures Supervisor where he inspected bridges, structures and track. Al then became a mainline track foreman where he expanded his knowledge of track construction, rail maintenance, and safety standards. Al is qualified in rail car switching to be able to provide service. His keen ambition, attention to detail and leadership skills help give Dunit Contracting the edge when choosing your service provider.
